Vaccination

It is not possible for home breeders to vaccinate their chicks as it can only be done on a large scale.   The risk however to back yard flocks to most of these is reasonably small  :D

Thank you for the starter AS!

We are considering vaccination as day olds.

Anyone have any more information? The vaccines are readily available, the quantities are rather large but I still feel it may be worthwhile in view of the difficulty of obtaining stock here in Ireland. We keep around 80 - 100 birds, ranging from commercials to gamefowl.

I'd call that large scale Calli

What sort of information do you need.  Different things are vaccinated againts at different ages up to about 15 weeks I think.

There will be information out on the net.  I'll have a look for you  :D
