Those teeny tiny garlic cloves from the middle of the head?  It is a right pain peeling them >:(, what to do?   Cheers,   :D Tony.

I try to use those in with roasted veg, then you can just squeeze them once cooked - messy finger food! :) They are too much of a pain to peel when raw!

I have just bought one of those rubber tubes that you put the clove inside and roll in on the breadboard and it removes all the skins.....the BEST £5 i have ever spent.  they peel the skins off the smallest of cloves, so quickly.  put one on your Christmas list! ;)

Put them on the chopping board, lay knife flat on them and thump knife with side of hand.  Skins come off really easy.  Make sure hurty side of knife is not facing up.

Well the stupid thing is that it probably wouldn't be any cheaper, but I could get hold of some silicone tube/pipe through work. It is used in the milking parlours. :)

for info, the rubber tubing is quite 'sticky'? mine has a gripping surface on the outside to make the rolling action better, and is very soft. does this sound like the tubing you used in your milking parlour?  you could make a fortune if it is the same stuff :D

Goose, it says those devices on the page you posted are silicone. I'll check out some silicone tube at work on Monday.... ;)
