My second post of the day is about rhubarb.

can i buy and plant this now?? I have the perfect spot! And a real craving for some  :lol:

Oh and what variety would you recommend? I really am clueless  :oops:

i dont know about what one but ive just got another one and planted it up yesterday, was told it would be fine

So long as it's container grown should be fine don't expect to pull any stciks this year but should be Ok for a light crop next year.

If you are going barerooted wait till Oct / Nov but in the meantime feed thespot heavily digging in compost manure whatever to give it chance to rot down.
