After 5 weeks of anticipation they have done it (well 2 of the 6 anyway). This afternoon when i got in from work myself and my 3 year old daughter checked the nesting boxes, as we have done everyday for the past five weeks. Oh my did we get a shock, 2 lovely eggs were waiting for us. The look on my daughters face was priceless. I feel extremely proud of my hens. Cant wait to check tomorrow.

Never ever fry your first eggy, they taste to good to spoil 

I remember the look on little legs face the day our first egg arrived, it was one of those lifes moments.
