Does anyone else think about how time flies?
« on: September 22, 2010, 22:27 »
I can't believe that I am thinking about overwintering garlic and onions.  It seems like only yesterday I was planting my tomatoe seeds!

Where does the time go?!

No sooner have I dropped by children off to the bus/school - it seems like it is time to pick them up again.  With half of the jobs on the list done and that is on  a good day!

This year has really passed quickly for me - first six months planning and anticipating retirement and now nearly the first three months have passed. Where have the years gone - seems like no time since I first started work.  :)

I try not to think about time flying because it would put me even further behind than I already am, and frankly, I just can't spare the time  :D I haven't even prepped my soil yet for garlic, and the welsh onions I finally got hold of.

I think this year the weather played a big part, it seemed ages waiting for spring to arrive then when it arrived on the Monday, by Wednesday it was summer!!
Then came Autumn in July and now we wait for the snows again.
It has flown indeed this year.

In at least one town in Northern Ireland the council are already putting up decorations for that time of the year that we are not allowed to mention until 24 December  ??? ???

surprised no one has cracked the old joke -- time flies an arrow, fruit flies like a banana.
Next door has crocuses in flower in their front garden. Seriously I love the seasons and how they roll around so looking forward to getting some digging started and seeds ordered.
