Hi I woder if anyone can help, we have tried to grow cabbages and kale this year but have been completley stripped by caterpillers and greenfly is there a solution to this without using chemicals?

Fine netting will keep the butterflies out. You'll need fleece to keep the greenfly out.

I find enviromesh effective at keeping aphids away from brassicas

Enviromesh is very good as long as you don't have aphids on the plants to start with as the humid conditions under the mesh is an ideal breeding ground. This I found out to my cost for the first time this year >:(
