Campanula Kent Belle

Sorry this may be a very stupid question but do I cut back my campanula for the winter and give it a good mulch. This year was the first time it flowered and it was given to me by a friend but she didnt tell me much about it.

My first year growing woody stemmed campanula, but as Goosegirl says cutting back and mulching should be OK for getting through winter....... The other fleshy low growing type I just pull the majority  of leaves off  to tidy it . Never bothered to mulch and its alsways been OK.
Just a point about the woody stemmed one:  Grown from seed and planted out this spring. Grew very well and profuse flowers. After flowering I cut back to about 12" and after around two weeks got another full show of flowers.
