hi guys what is the purple spray and where can i get it? lonely Lucy got a peck on/in the eye (not sure yet she wont open it)

scarily its actually called purple spray and can be got from most horsey places.  I thought it was sumat else but i bought a bottle of it yesterday looking for gentian violet and low and behold it was on the shelf as purple spray.

I was using savlon spray and could not understand the difference. however , it is very purple and does not wash off with the rain. also I have now got wonderful eggs with purple lines in the whites tee hee. Only joking but my new girls have streaked the eggs with purple

You get purple spray from equestrian places but don't spray or put it near the eyes.

Wear gloves when using it. It is very hard if not impossible  to wash off and ususally has to fade gradually!

Wicked advice Sassy about the gloves I wish some one had told me before I used it. 4 days and counting but on the other hand its a brilliant colour for nail varnish?
