Please can anyone help we recently purchased a couple of Pekings from Melton Market. Yesterday the male looked a little off colour, but today he is triple his normal size, he looks as if he has been pumped up with a bike pump. He is eating and drinking normally but really looks as if we need to stick a pin in him to deflate  him. Can anyone please help

I've never seen anyting like that!  I am no expert but you may find people can help if you give a little more background.  Is he eating, drinking and poohing normally?  You could feel under his wing and  then feel the other hen to see if he has a temperature.  How are his eyes - bright or dull or weepy?There are loads of good experienced people who can give you advice here.  Can you post a picture?  That might help with clues.  It may be worth identifying a good local chicken-friendly vet.
