Turkeys and chooks

hi, i know alot of people say not to keep turkeys and chooks together due to blackhead etc but i also know alot of people do, ensuring they worm etc.

so i just wanted to know how many people do keep them together and what they do to ensure they are all ok and what set up they have eg run size, housing etc

i have four turkey poults at the moment and am hoping to get some ex bats soon. two of the turkeys are for Christmas but was hoping to keep a breeding pair to Christmas's to come and just because i think they are fabulous birds.
