messing parsnips about
« on: September 07, 2010, 15:14 »
Whilst out today noticed that the pot of parsnips I have growing for Christmas have become completely water logged (probably due to the deluge we had last night).  Anyway, I took out some of the water and then topped up the pot with some old dry compaost that I had from earlier in the year.  Please don't tell me this will do them lasting damage!!! ???

Wouldn't have thought it would hurt too much - but you do have drainage holes in the pots, don't you?
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...
