Hi All

Not sure if this is in the irght place, but here goes...

I gave a friend a cayenne chilli plant which sadly didn't make it through her "going away on holiday" week or so.

We thought no more about it, but last week my friend said that the chilli had come back to life and was growing away merrily.

i asked them to show me a photo, and tbh am unable to identify what it is - I know one thing - it looks nothing like my cayenne's and more like a bay tree!

Can anynone help in letting me know what it could be?

I don't think it is a bay tree, their leaves are very dark green and shiny. Looks more like a weed to me

I'm pretty sure it's a goat willow or some other willow - their windborne seeds get everywhere
