That's what I was thinking, they are off the ground and seems to grow pretty well over here. Might be worth a try if I have a spare bit of plot to put them.

A lot of The West Indian members on our site grow it. It grows really well here, can be a bit of a thug. Not tried it myself but apparently you can use it in much the same way as spinach.
