Lost the plot with Sprouts!

  Lost the plot with the sowing and planting out of sprouts-got it into my head you planted them out with over-wintering cabbages and onions etc.- all too late now it seems unless there is a away of playing catch up/grow in bags in the green-house, -any helpful advice please

I was late planting mine out last year. Thought that since they were in big pots they would catch up. They didn't. Admitedly we have a short summer here which won't have helps. Result - zero crop. Can I softly suggest you leave the ground to rest or grow some green manure? 

I think then I`ll wait `till next year...cheers
