I read an article that suggested that green leafy veg was a reoccurring factor in studies of the super old i.e communities where life expectancy goes on and on and on.

The elderly not only ate the stuff all the time and therefore took in the nutritous qualities but took daily exercise pottering about the veg patch planting watering and cropping too.

Yes but because of poverty they did not eat much red meat.  I love greens and by growing them I have 3 children that eat them.  The OH however cannot get passed the boiled to death greens her mother served despite our children eating their greens.
Time waits for no man and I can't wait for growth.
