10 lbs of damson sized verrry ripe plums - was given them today by a desperate friend, but they won't last another 24 hours

Freezer to use for pies and crumbles.

Freeze them for now. Make jam later, but add pectin to make sure it sets, as they are very ripe
Also you can of course make chutney........what a terrible problem to have

Thanks both, I've posted in healthy living forum about my other challenges, i just don't have time tonight as i have to write up a 12 page exam neatly for an interview - I wonder if DD would like to learn how to make Jam - just got back from Edinburgh last night, house a tip, loads of washing to do, no food in cupboards...... pretty normal really

Have frozen some (run out of bags now), made a large crumble, just about to start writing up exams and trying to persuade kids to go to bed!!!

Is it easy to make plum wine?

Plum wine!   MMmmmm, may do that with the little plums Joyfull kindly gave me earlier today!  I do have one demi john empty!  Thanks!!!!
