Brassicas. So cabbage, cauliflower, kale, turnips, raddishes, swedes and mustard.  As far as I know you can still grow these just carefully and there are some resistent seeds out there.

Start all your brassicas in modules or pots and put a good handful of lime in the planting holes. Not a miracle cure, but it helps a lot  ;)

I read somewhere that putting a piece of rhubarb in the bottom of the hole when planting out brassicas helped reduce the risk of club root.  Not sure if it works but might be worth a try...
