French Beans
« on: August 10, 2010, 10:18 »
My french beans have gone mad im getting loads lots more than expected. Anyway i went to get some more just now and there are some really large ones that are past there prime.

My question is, i normally leave some at the end for my seeds next yr, now if i leave some of the large ones now for seed will it stop or slow the plants producing more now?

Cheers MW.
I'm very important. I have many leather-bound books and my apartment smells of rich mahogany.

Pick the large ones and dry them in a greenhouse or similar, if you leave them they will slow the production down.

Or just leave those plants for seed production, and crop from the others  :)
