morning all, I have heard that you can freeze eggs, If so do they go straight into the freezer without doing anything how long can they last in there and lastly how long do they normally take to defrost   :nowink:

Good morning  :)
To freeze eggs; Suitable prepared eggs will keep for 9-10 months in the freezer, to store whole eggs, beat lightly and add 1/2 tsp of either sugar or salt to each egg, place in a covered container, labelled savoury or sweet!!
You can also seperate yolks from whites and add 1/2 tsp of sugar/salt for every two yolks or whites,
don't freeze eggs in their shells or they will crack, hardboiled eggs will become rubbery. Hope this helps  :)
