controlling redmites for broody hen and chicks

Hello there,

this has probably already been discussed; please accept my apologies as a newbie.  I have a broody bantam, who I dusted with redmite powder before she went in to sit on the eggs and the house has been dusted and cleaned.  There are no other hens in the house

Those rampant redmites seem to be running amock this year and I don't want the chicks to suffer.  I could really use some advice about what is safe to use with chicks and what measures I could take either now or after they hatch.

I am impressed with this forum and the speed of the responses.  Counting the days now (this is day 12) to see if any chicks hatch!
