25p each at our local garden centre ...

And it's not a cheap garden centre either.

25p dont sound too bad :) 72p :(

Dont want to steal the thread but is it true that it takes a spud 60plus days after lifting to be fit to use as a seed potato.  I only ask as put some Lady Crystl away in early June to plant soon for Christmas and i think Rats have had all but 1 off :( :(

Can i use Charlotte i lifted about 2 weeks ago????

Yes to 60 days.  No to 2 weeks. (According to Iain our spud guru who knows his spuds)  :)
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days all attack me at once...

Question - Do you grow the Christmas spuds in open ground or in pots?  Thinking of having a go - anything special with the seed?

Thanks.
