Caterpillars.

Any good ideas how to get rid of caterpillars from the leaves of turnips.A bit fed up squeezing the little blighters.Many thanks.

A good squirt with salty water might do the trick  :)

Sunshineband – salty water?  First time I have heard of that, does it work and do you use it on anything else.

Blackpool is just down the road, I can get gallons of the stuff  :) :) :)

Soapy water does not work you end up with squeaky clean caterpillars with lovely soft hands. :)

I don't use a supersaturated solution, just slightly salty and tbh not that much makes it down to the soil  :D
