Has anyone tried growing garlic from China. I tried some supermarket stuff this year and it didn't do much but it originated from Spain. I suspect China has a climate nearer to ours and I was in a farm shop nearby where they had Chinese garlic cloves, they seemed bigger and the cloves were of a more even size than the stuff from Spain. I just wondered if anyone had tried growing it in this country.

I haven't tried Chinese garlic, but I am going to plant some Isle of Wight garlic this year, as I reckon that would be the closest climate match.
