My cucumbers aren't straight either, nor the tomatoes all the same size, not like the ones in the supermarket.

As for the carrots!!!

No neither are mine, but they're not even looking like cauliflowers, just sort of.. i dunno straggly :blink:

You've not left them too long and they're running to seed, have you? Are the curds opening up?

I don't think ive left them too long, they sort of grew like that. Was going to pick one for us tea last night but they dont look very nice!

I made the mistake of trying to let the curds get too big and they started becoming less tight and a bit straggly, thereafter i was picking them when they were just about big enough for a meal for the three of us, and i froze the rest.

Not sure how to get the curds big and still tight but its surely best to sacrifice the size for taste!

No.2 certainly has been left too long, no. 1 has probably only just outstayed its welcome. It's hard to say, but it may have been nibbled also.
