What should i be sowing now for a winter harvest?

One that's not shown on the sowing and harvesting chart is Kale a type of brassica (perhaps it should be added if possible)! Cavolo De Nero (Italian type Kale) can be still be sown for a winter crop although it's probably better sown modules / pots in order to get it off to a good start. I had a good crop from a sowing made in the second week of August last year. The plants didn't mature into large plants but the leaves were very tender and it kept well in the ground until February. It's one of my favourite green vegetables.
