Hi, I have three chickens, who are about 15 weeks old now.
I'm wanting a frizzle and have found someone who has some that will be ready in a few weeks.
do you think the three I have would attack a single chicken if I introduced them?
Also is it easier to introduce whilst they are still young, or wait until they're all older?

Introducing one chicken to an established group is never a good idea, especially if the new one is going to look so dissimilar to the others as a frizzle will!

If you could get a pair things might be easier, but trying to introduce a singleton is probably a recipe for bullying

that's what i was thinking, and i'd feel horrible if i brought a chicken home just to get bullied!
My mum wants to wait until next year before we get more so that they're not all the same age, so I guess i'll have to wait and just get a few next year at once =)
