Thanks Zippy.

I suspect as much re the packaging, but couldn't speak from first hand knowledge.

Did it really tell you to do THAT on the packet?

Northern Ireland surely is UK mainland.

Which companies say they won't deliver there & which one won't do Scotland?

DD,

There are many companies who class us here (Kintyre) as Highlands and Islands. We are mainland UK and further south than parts of England!!  >:( >:(

I know. May I remind you who stayed at the Mull of Galloway lighthouse in May? It was a long way round, mind you.

Try Premier seeds on fleabay, 1000 seeds on average for 99p. V good selection and they charge the same postage however many you buy, DEFRA certified.

Not from my mum was it?  ::)

She writes to my daughter and always whacks an airmail sticker on if I'm not looking - but at 90...why not!

Springlands where abouts are you? Don't have to answer if you don't want.  ;) Got lost looking for Donaghadee gc. Dicksons is ok in Bangor also go to Hillmount but they have far too much unrelated garden rubbish like mugs, pens with your name on it etc!

Hi DD, no N.irelands not on mainland. Some older folk here still call England the mainland. Can't remember the company that can't deliver to Scotland i was scouring the net for hrs going straight to the p+p.
Everyones been really helpful with suggestions going to look up a few more.
The plugplants i've been getting from ebay are fab, can't complain.
Thanks everyone  :D

Hi Sloe Gin - Donaghadee GC can be hard to find. Take the A2 from Bangor to Groomsport and then continue on the A2 towards Donaghadee. The GC is about half way between GP and DD on the Stockbridge Road which is off the landward side of the road. Hope that helps.

I live on the lower Ards Peninsula - very exposed to the easterly winds from the Irish Sea which can make for very difficult growing conditions but also very beautiful.
