Do cockerals moult?

He'll look even more funny if he has a full moult my huge brahma cockerel had hardly any feathers left last year   :blink: poor thing ,did he feel down but when they grew back he knew he looked good

We've had our orpington buff cockerel for over a year and he has never moulted

Too young yet to moult.

Oh, right . I thought it was a bit strange because our white orpington who is around 8 months old (cockerel's around a year and a half) has moulted quite a bit already  

Some chooks moult so you don't notice and others can look oven ready!
