Do cockerals moult?

Sorry if this sounds a silly question but do cockerals moult?  My boy seems to be losing his tail feathers  :ohmy:

He'll look even more funny if he has a full moult :lol: my huge brahma cockerel had hardly any feathers left last year   :blink: poor thing ,did he feel down :( but when they grew back he knew he looked good ;)

We've had our orpington buff cockerel for over a year and he has never moulted ???

Oh, right :). I thought it was a bit strange because our white orpington who is around 8 months old (cockerel's around a year and a half) has moulted quite a bit already  :)

Some chooks moult so you don't notice and others can look oven ready!
