Have you fed them? Watered them enough? What were they planted in? We aren't getting a huge amount of info to help out with here!

 it must be the picture ,no they look healthy except for the leading shoot , it looks distorted   at first I thought  weed killer damage but none of the other plants around them are afected , and as far as I know there as been no spray near them .

They have been well watered , I have grown 2 rows of peas with good results at the side of them

Have a good check for aphids - you cant always see them until there is a large infestation.

Keep an eye out for mildew just in case too, it appeared rapidly on my Lupins and wasn't noticeable for ages apart from them wilting.

Hi Peapod
               I have been away for a few days ,this is what the peas look like now ,they are starting to flower but the flower buds look very tight ,and there are brown patches appearing on the edge of the leaves .  But there are no aphids nor mildew .
