We have lots of wild red poppies going to seed on the allotment, been a bit lax with the weeding. Can I use these seeds on my bread?

I was madcat, but the poppy seeds are for the summer hols, thought my little one could make faces on his loaves, it is much easier to do things if he is given "jobs" to do
