There's one post (forum search) mentioning this chemical in relation to bracken killing but it doesn't answer my question.
It is sold where I work, so as such I know it is a powereful bracken killing chemical, but I have no knowledge of how it would behave if it got near my garden. The adjoining landowner has informed me that Scottish Natural Heritage
(SNH) will be aerial spraying the bracken on this SSSI, some of which comes very close to our boundary. I don't know why, but this seemed to cause quite a nervous reaction in me
as I immediately thought of our whole garden getting accidentally sprayed.
I'm too cynical to think that some helicopter pilot would care whether or not they kill my garden and the landowner/farmer agreed with me that they would need to take care about the wind direction. We don't keep ornamental ferns or anything like that, so am I quite safe really?
