Your question is a little confusing.

Are they a miniature type of pepper, or just currently at a small stage of growth?

Do you have 7 peppers or 7 pepper plants?
What variety?
The successes and failures of each year keep me motivated for the following year.

Most Mini Bell peppers will be heavy croppers, given the right growing conditions.

Assuming that yours have plenty of light; warmth and a good growing medium, then they will ripen from green to red.

If they start to produce masses of fruit (some can produce 50+ per plant) then; my advice; pick a few as you want them, in whatever state of ripeness, which will allow others to grow on and ripen further.

It also depends on your tastes: personally, I dislike green peppers, and love red and yellow ones...

Coloured Peppers (Red, Yellow or whatever colour they are designed to become) take a week or two longer.

I personally think that the plants then start to think they have "succeeded" at cropping and slow down / stop producing more.

I leave one or two plants to go red, the rest are picked green.

They are in a good quality compost in lrg tub together in a warm sheltered spot outside. They are in very lrg pots in the green house. I guess the green house ones are more to ripen.
Thanj you
