Harvesting my first aubergine!

Well I'm very jealous!!  

I have got some healthy plants - in greenhouse and outside - with some beeeyoootiful flowers but not a sign of even the teeniest aubergine like bump!

As far as cooking small aubs, baby aubergine curry is very yummy they melt in your mouth!

Is it getting too late for them or does anyone know how late they can be - I grew from seed and planted earlyish.

Ooops. I thought every kid knew what ear wax tasted like! Much as it was a long time ago, I was a kid once. It's not the kind of taste you ever forget. Yeuch.
