Freezing Cauliflowers

HELP... My Caulis have all growed up.. some started to blow... so need to save them.  How do I go about freezing them?

Break them in to florets, plunge them into boiling water, remove them as soon as they come back to the boil, then leave them to cool, pack in portions that you would eat in a freezer bag and put in the freezer.  Will keep at least 6 months still eating mine from last year (and yes I have got more in the garden!)

Helpful info here.

Just one more question; like others, our cauli's have arrived at the same time.  Some have started to sprout longer florets that look like they are going to flower.

Can you freeze these sprouters too or should they be removed and just preserve the firm head bits?

catch them quick enough, and you can freeze them
