Hi everyone, just joined and have found while searchig online a layers pellet feed with Flubenvet already included has anyone used this and is it any good? still fumbling my way through the many manufacturers and products so any advice would be welcome thanks

Hi Ma, and welcome to the madhouse Henhouse!   The other day another forum member mentioned the pellets with Flubenvet in it, and I think he uses it.  Would solve your problem of how uch to put in a bag etc, but how long would it take you to use up a full bag?

I think he said it was Marriages?  But I've never actually used it myself.

That was the stuff, wondered about that myself as wasn't sure if it was to be used as a treatment or an ongoing thing. I think I might stick with the powder as not enough info about it on the site I was looking at. So much to learn and probably to keep learning!!

I'd not heard of that. I bought Flubenvet the other day from Interhatch. 60 g pack but it cost me £19.99

Depending on how many birds you have might be going for the 2.5% strength as you use a lot less and its only about £23 for 240gms. You only need 24gms for 20kg of feed

 Easier to pop into your vets and buy it but can buy it on line just as easy

Our vet doesn't stock it which surprised me as they are a poultry vet. I got some from Interhatch which I collected. It aint cheap    It's available online and some don't charge postage. There is VAT on it unfortunately

It may have been me that mentioned the Marriages. I bought them from the SPR Centre online. You'll need too fill out the vet form before purchase.

They are easier to administer than the powder. By the way I feed my girls Marriages layers so the change in diet wasn't too much of a shock to them.
