marjoram

Bought a healthy bushy plant and potted on to an 8" pot with compost, bit of manure and fbb. Going great guns then the middle started dying and has gone crispy brown and spreading (it's not lack of/too much water I don't think) Any ideas what's causing it? Have I overwhelmed it with nutrients? It's in full sun.
Should I try repotting again or let it be?

It does that when it gets top heavy... it flops outwards and shows the dying off lower leaves.  Its not just you.

I support it all round (4 canes and several loops of twine) to make it stand up and look the part.

At the end of the year, when it is frosted off, chop it back to ground ish level and it will be away in the spring again.

IT's beacuse it naturally grows in very dry condtions and them stems are wiry to hold the plant up.  Soft plants just sprawl down and collapse the plant, but the leaves still taste good  :D :D

It's not very high...about 10cm and is looking a bit floppy now. There are some sprigs round the edge but I think I'll plant it out. Thanks peeps!
