Goosberries ?

Hi i have some gooseberry plants with lot's of gooseberry fruits on them. Can anyone advise me when i can pick the berries ? Thanks for any help you can give me.

That's half the bushes, got sore fingers so I gave up for the evening.

Kevlar gloves next time, the Marigolds are not so effective.  :(

My Dad only really likes them when they are really sour :blink:

So mine are now getting a tad too sweet for him! ::)

I love munching on them whilst I'm picking them.

I've got 4 bushes & picked about half, possibly less,  of the fruit.

I ate about that many at a clients place yesterday. Forgot to tell her they were ready for picking. :(
