Hello, looking for some advice please... 

My hen was not herself yesterday.  And this morning she had a fluid filled crop.  I massaged it and tipped her upside down, lots of water and bits of watermelon came out (I hung up a slice as a treat for them yesterday).  The fluid that came out had no smell, so I'm guessing not sour crop.  She's not eating, but is drinking.  She's hunched up, standing still, not happy. 

Her crop still has something squishy in it, but I can't get any more out.  Tried gently twice, don't really want to keep trying.  Poor hen. 

Any advice gratefull received.....

My girl was like this a couple of weeks ago. Very lethargic generally did not look right and off her lay. Her crop seemed squishy too so took her to the vets as I was unsure what to do with her. The vet gave me some anti-biotics called Oxycare 200mg tablets for her to have twice a day. They seemed to have worked really well, she is totally back to her normal pirate self. I think with chickens its a case of act fast or regret at leisure.
