Hawaiian Currant. (just the 1)

So small, so singular but so damn gorgeous.

Ah Bless! Lucky you....enjoy it ...my HC are just trusses of green peas still...........I have lots of toms set but none ripening............which I think is strange considering the weather we've been having

Had my first Red Alert tom yesterday (as I've said recently on here they're quick, especially grown outdoors oop north here in Sheffield!)

(Good taste as well, although probably not the best.)
Sow your seeds, plant your plants. What's the difference? A couple of weeks or more when answering possible queries!

One of the best things about being an orang-utan is the fact that you don't lose your good looks as you get older

Had 5 gardeners delights and a 1lb 4oz beefsteak (costoluto fiorentino). Unusual as the beefsteaks are normally ripe weeks after the cherries.

If we stay blight free no more shop bought toms till december,  Yayyyyyyy......................... :D

I've had Gartenperle and Red Alert ripen so far. I've also got Legend, Pomodoro Roma, Alicante and Sungold with green tomatoes but not yet ripe. Red Alert are my very favourite, sweetest of the lot.

Have had 5 ripe sungolds here... a bit of a cheat as these plants are in a south facing, double glazed porch so have been a bit mollycoddled.  Lovely and sweet (to be critical they could have a bit more of a tomato taste) delicious  :).  The ones in the outdoor greenhouse are developing well but the most advanced tom out there is yellowy-green so will be a while yet I think.
