Problem cucumbers

  My cucumber plants (Prima) started off really well - there are four of them in the greenhouse and they are about six feet tall. So far I have probably had about 10 - 12 fruits from each plant and there were plenty of small fruits developing. Over the last couple of days the leaves have become papery and the developing fruits have all died. I cannot see any sign of pests. The plants are in large containers with a good compost. I have tried to maintain a fairly constant temperature and watering regime. If any one has and ideas or suggestions as to what has gone wrong I would really appreciate it. Also any suggestions on how to revive the plants if that is possible!!

Thanks for your reply Barbarella - I have watered the plants regularly but not always watered floor of GH - will keep in mind for future. I think that for the two worst plants I will cut them right back and try to train up the side shoots - they are so bad that I probably have nothing to lose.
