Basil  :( After doing well with sage, parsley and rosemary from seed - the basil failed.

Celeriac. Takes weeks to germinate, grows to a couple of inches then keels over and dies!

Every year seems to be different. This year I have had trouble with beetroot and parsnips whereas last year I couldn't eat enough of them. Last year garlic and carrots were poor, this year fantastic!
But, I think each year I learn a bit more about how to produce a good crop and that is the most important thing.

Anything globe shaped - radish, beetroot, turnip.

I'm refusing to bother with radishes next year. I don't even like them  :tongue2:!
My music teacher was right. If you have to make a mistake, make it good and big and loud; with a bit of luck people will think that it was always meant to be like that.
