I've just dug up a row of early spuds and very nice they are but what can i put in there place any suggestions? :blush:

leeks, squash or courgettes? Or maybe a pumpkin!
Start at the beginning, and finish at the end!!

I have cabbage and cauliflower from an earlier sowing that will go where my earlies are once I've dug up the remainder of them :D

When our potatoes come up we shall be planting loads of manure and leaving it to overwinter.  The plot has been neglected for two years and I feel it needs a good injection of nutrients.

remember to tread the soil until it is really hard again, if you are going to plant brassicas ;)

Can onions follow peas, (I'm about to rip mine up, Been a disaster with this dry spell even with all the water they've had!! :mad:),

and first early potatoes?? I'll be lifting them before they get too big.

I don't see why not, but can you leave the roots in for the nitrogen and compost the growth?

Usual salad suspects (mixed leaves, radish, rocket.)

Spinach beet and/or Swiss chard.

Something completely different (I'm going to give Florence fennel ONE LAST CHANCE this year!)  :unsure:
