Holding a guinea fowl for show
« on: June 24, 2010, 19:20 »
Does anyone know how to hold a guinea fowl when showing them.  My son has shown things at the fair before but has never shown a guinea fowl before.  We would like to know how to really hold one to show it.  Also does anyone know where I can get some quail eggs to hatch or the the chicks themelves sent to us?  We are in Michigan.

Hi and welcome. I have 2 adults and 8 eggs under broodies at the moment but don't show - in fact the 2 adults won't let me hold them (they came to me as adults and I am the third owner at least as they are a little bit aggressive).
However have you seen this website? It may be worth you contacting them for advice if nobody else can help you  :)
