I've got some sweet pepper plants in big pots.  They were in my spare room up until about a week ago, then with this sunny weather I've been putting them out in the garden when it's nice during the day and bringing them in at night.

One of the plants has developed kind of silvery, see-through leaves (no camera so no pics I'm afraid!), affecting two of the biggest leaves on the top, and a couple of the smaller ones further down the plant.  The other plants in the same pot (3 per big pot) seem unaffected. 

Any ideas of what's wrong?

Probably just a little sun scorch, did you put them in direct sunlight outside ? They need to get used to it first, best to put them out side but in a shaded area at first.

They've been out in cloud all day (but still quite warm) for a few days, then we've had maybe 3 sunny days in a row. They probably get 4 or 5 hours of direct sunlight, then are in shade.  is this too much?  I was trying not to let them get too cold- I'm not convinced they'll survive a lancashire "summer"!

I'll put them in a shadier spot tomorrow and keep my fingers crossed.
