Poorly chook

I'd like a second/third/fourth opinion. Just in case I have misdiagnosed.
19th Fine lively normal
20th Hanging about nest box morning, checked at lunchtime wondering if she was getting broody. Hard golf ball crop. Gave 3 ml olive oil and separated from rest to starve for a while. Brighter by evening so after I gave others the scratch feed and when they finished, I put her back for company and removed everyones food. She was scratching round looking hungry. Crop now very soft and squishy.
21st. In the nest box as yesterday although brighter and grumbled at my intrusion. Crop still squishy. 3 ml olive oil administered and separated once more so others can be fed.
She is fighting me so a bit better and it might be my impatience after all its only 24 hours since she started symptons, but rather thought she would have digested the crop contents. Should I try and empty her crop as it might ferment or just leave her alone for a bit? Thanks
