relocation of fruit and veg

hi all,
i have just got my half plot allotment and am excited and keen to get going.
i have inherrited a few plants which i would like to relocate if possible.
i got potatoes which i will dig up when ready and mark where they grew for next years plan.
the rest are the ones i would like to move.
artichoke Globe, well developed
raspberries,
gooseberries.

if i can move them how and when?

Basic rule with moving shrubs is never during growing season unless you're desperate to save them from a bulldozer or whatever. Wait until they're dormant in fall and then dig them up with enough soil around the roots so there's minimal disturbance there. Be sure the new hole is full of good stuff like compost or manure, blood, fish & bonemeal, etc. and water well once in. Come spring they should never notice they moved.
I'm not familiar with artichokes myself so someone else can advise on that. I'm guessing it would be the same as above.
