I get the frontline spray from my vets for my chickens and give each one a quick squirt between their shoulder blades. I still eat the eggs and I'm ok I think
Staffies are softer than you think.

hi, which version of frontline product are you all using as I don't think they make one especially for poultry? I think there is a version for other (smaller) birds? Also do you use the mite powered as well?

ok great, 1 or 2 drops per bird? I guess this means a capsule goes a long way

Defintatley, i used one capsale on 3 birds and theres still loads left in it, i guess the spray is easier to use though, might get that at some point,  from reading everyone elses comments your only supposed to put it on the back of the neck, not under the wings or any other area.

I went in to the vets to get the kitten strength one, and they told me they dont do it as you can apply cat strenght frontline onto an 8 wk kitten, thats wot my vets told me.   So as i used cat strenght i just put one to two drops depending on size of bird.          nickyx

and you all use front line not a non branded equivalent ? I guess this makes me sound tight given the amount I'll need to use but I am from Yorkshire!
