yummy strawberry's

picked half a dozen strawberry's for my daughter to have with some icecream and we shared one , the flavour was fantastic im going to pot the runners and tidy up this bed into nice neat rows after the season .
i inherrited them so i dont know the variety they are already sending out runners so i will be having plenty more next year

do i move them after fruiting or should i wait till early spring to transplant them

I think you are supposed to transplant in the autumn but someone else may tell you the proper way. I don't do things the proper way but get away with it..............does that sound like gobbledy gook LOL. I have transplanted mine even when in fruit and they are ok, don't you do that though I have enough strawbs to take the risk.

like you i do tend to get by with a little nowledge and a lot of help

but i dont want to take a chance with these delicouse plants
