Going back
« on: June 12, 2010, 12:07 »
One of my chicks has got to go back as i am sure it is a cock. The comb and wattles are very large on the one were the other still havent got a comb or wattles, also in the morning when they are let out he streches his neck  to make a funny sound not quite a crow and not a click. I am so upset he is a lovely bird but i cant keep him because of the neighbours. I have phoned up the people where i got them from and he is going back on Monday. :(

Oh, shame :(

It can be difficult to sex them when they are very young.

sadly this does happen, one of the girls I bought last year when she got to 9 months went through a growth spurt, started to crow and then tried to tread her sisters - he formally known as a she also had to go back  :)
Staffies are softer than you think.
