Hi All
just a quick question that i more than likely know the answer to already but just want to confirm it.
Can the eggs be eaten from a hen or hens that is/are on antibiotics???

I think there is an egg withdrawal period when on antibiotics.  One of mine has been on Baytril and the withdrawal period is 7 days after finishing the antibiotics.  Some people don't seem to worry too much about it but I certainly wouldn't eat any until the 7 days are up.

some are nil withdrawal - although I still avoid them whilst they are on the antibiotics. Tylan, aureomycin and denegard are no withdrawal.

Hi one of my girls just got a single injection of antibiotic on Monday and the vet told me to hold off for 7 days.
